Application Area

The fastening set SET 0531 is designed for the permanent, form-fit and force-fit securing of bar gratings on steel support structures. Typical applications include walkable grating surfaces in industrial and commercial facilities, walkways, platforms, stair landings, and maintenance paths in plant engineering. The set is suitable for statically loaded and mildly dynamically stressed structures.

Assembly Principle

The top clamp part is placed from above onto the bearing bar side of the bar grating. The bottom part engages from below into the support frame of the substructure. The connection is pre-tensioned via the M8 bolt with square nut, clamping the bar grating securely between the top and bottom parts. The assembly is detachable – the bar grating can be lifted at any time for maintenance work.

• Bar gratings with mesh pitch 33/34 mm (mesh aperture 30 × 30 mm)
• Bearing bar spacing of at least 26 mm
• Grating height up to 40 mm
• Bearing bar 20–30 mm wide
• Press-welded gratings and press-locked gratings to DIN 24537
