Application Area

The fastening set SET 0531 M8×80 is designed for bar grating installations on particularly wide or thick beam profiles. The 80 mm bolt enables safe use even with elevated substructures and wide support flanges. Typical applications: heavy-duty industrial grating surfaces, heavy-load walkways, bridge decking, and plant engineering with large section heights.

Assembly Principle

Place the top clamp part from above onto the bearing bar. Insert the bottom part from below into the beam profile. Tighten the M8×80 bolt with square nut to the specified pre-tension force. The bar grating is held in a form-fit and force-fit manner. The connection is detachable at any time. Observe the specified torque using a torque wrench.
