Application Area

The hook bolt J-Hook M8×70 is an individual component for bar grating fastenings on angle and flange profiles. It hooks into the mesh of the bar grating and clamps from below onto the support beam – ideal for situations where the grating cannot or does not need to be fed from above. Typical applications: pipe bridges, horizontal cantilevers, cantilevered platforms, boiler rooms.

Assembly Principle

The J-Hook is inserted from the side or from below into the mesh of the bar grating. The hook section wraps around the support profile (angle, flat steel or section leg). A square nut or counter-nut secures the hook against rotation and lifting. The connection is detachable and can be made without drilling in the substructure.
