Grating fastening – top part 18 – from mesh size 15 mm – hot-dip galvanized

1️⃣ Product description

The top part 18 is a precisely manufactured clamp top part made of steel and is used as a top component within a grating fastening.
It serves to securely fix gratings and enables reliable force transmission between the grating and the substructure.

The component is designed as a clamping top for gratings with a mesh size of 15 mm or more .
With a mesh size of 15 mm, the top part can be used for support bars up to a thickness of 3 mm .
The filling bar width must be at least 19 mm .

The defined bending geometry and the centrally located through-hole enable a form-fitting mounting on the grating.
For assembly, the use of slotted cylinder screws according to DIN 84 M8 is recommended.

The upper part 18 is manufactured according to technical drawings and, due to its design and choice of materials, is suitable for use in steel construction, industrial plants, on catwalks and in maintenance and service areas.
The surface is hot-dip galvanized according to DIN EN ISO 1461 and offers reliable corrosion protection for indoor and outdoor applications.
