Product Description
The Top Part 18 is a precision-manufactured top clamp component made of steel and is used as the upper component within a bar grating fastening system.
It is designed for the secure fixing of bar gratings and enables reliable force transmission between the bar grating and the substructure.
The component is designed as a top clamp part for bar gratings with a mesh pitch from 15 mm.
With a mesh pitch of 15 mm, the top part can be used up to a bearing bar thickness of 3 mm.
The bearing bar spacing must be at least 19 mm.
The defined bending geometry and the centrally positioned through-bore enable a form-fit assembly on the bar grating.
Assembly is designed for use of slotted cylinder head screws to DIN 84 M8.
Top Part 18 is manufactured to technical drawing and is suitable by its design and material selection for use in structural steelwork, industrial plant systems, walkways, and maintenance and service areas.
The surface is hot-dip galvanised to DIN EN ISO 1461 and provides reliable corrosion protection for indoor and outdoor applications.
