The Top Part 28 is a precision-manufactured clamp-type top part made of steel, used as the upper component in a bar grating fastening system.

It is specifically suited for gratings with a mesh pitch of 41 / 44 / 45 mm and a bearing bar spacing of at least 18 mm, making it designed for coarser grating structures.

The symmetrical bending contour and defined through-hole ensure reliable fixing of the bar grating and secure force transfer to the substructure. This guarantees a stable, lasting connection between the bar grating and the supporting structure.

The central hole is designed for assembly with hex head screws DIN 933 M8 and allows a practical, robust bolted connection even under dynamic loads.

The component is manufactured to technical drawing and, thanks to its design and material selection, is ideally suited for use in industrial plant systems, steel construction, walkways, stage platforms, and maintenance and service areas.

The surface is hot-dip galvanised to DIN EN ISO 1461 and provides reliable, long-lasting corrosion protection even in demanding environments such as outdoor areas, wet spaces, or industrial facilities with elevated stress.

Bar grating fasteners are currently not subject to CE standards and must be used in accordance with the respective application requirements and applicable legal regulations.
