Product Description
The Top Part 6 is a precision-manufactured top clamp component made of steel, used as the upper component within a bar grating fastening system.
It is specifically designed for press-locked and press-welded gratings with a mesh pitch of 33/34 mm and is suitable for a mesh aperture of 30 x 30 mm and a bearing bar spacing of at least 26 mm.
The symmetrical bending contour and the defined through-bore ensure secure fixing of the bar grating and reliable force transmission to the substructure.
The component is deep-drawn by approx. 5 mm, which recesses the bolt head and ensures a flush, installation-friendly bolted connection.
The central bore is intended for assembly with hex bolts DIN 933 M8 and enables a practical, robust fastening even under elevated mechanical loads.
The top part is manufactured to technical specification and is ideally suited by its design for use in industrial plant systems, plant and structural steelwork, walkways, and maintenance and service areas.
The surface is hot-dip galvanised to DIN EN ISO 1461 and provides reliable corrosion protection even under demanding environmental conditions.
Bar grating fasteners are currently not subject to CE standards and must be used in accordance with the respective application requirements and applicable legal regulations.
