Product Description

The Top Part 74 is a precision-manufactured top clamp component made of steel, used as the upper component within a bar grating fastening system.
It is specifically designed for GRP (fibreglass) gratings as well as press-locked and press-welded gratings with a mesh pitch of 38/40 mm and is suitable for a bearing bar spacing of at least 26 mm.

The symmetrical bending contour and the defined through-bore ensure secure fixing of the bar grating and reliable force transmission to the substructure.
The central bore is intended for assembly with hex bolts DIN 933 M8 and guarantees a practical, robust bolted connection even under elevated loads.

The component is manufactured to technical drawing and, with its design and the limited web width of maximum 6 mm, is optimally adapted to the requirements of GRP gratings.
It is ideally suited for use in industrial plant systems, plant and structural steelwork, walkways, and maintenance and service areas.

The surface is hot-dip galvanised to DIN EN ISO 1461 and provides reliable corrosion protection even under demanding environmental conditions.
