Product Description

The Bottom Part 32 is a precision-manufactured bottom clamp component made of steel, used as the lower component within a bar grating fastening system.
It is specifically designed for press-locked and press-welded gratings with a mesh pitch of 22 / 33 / 34 mm and enables secure, form-fit fixing of the bar grating to the substructure.

The thoughtfully designed bending geometry allows accommodation of two bearing bars and additionally offers the possibility of clamping a single bearing bar up to 4 mm thick securely.
The defined clamping heights of 13 mm and 18 mm (alternatively 12.2 mm / 16 mm) make the bottom part suitable for various grating and substructure variants.

Assembly is carried out practically using M8 bolts. The bottom part is suitable for both square and hex nuts and ensures a robust, lasting bolted connection even under high mechanical loads.

The component is manufactured to technical drawing and, thanks to its compact and load-bearing design, is optimally suited for use in industrial plant systems, steel and plant engineering, walkways, and maintenance and service areas.

The surface is hot-dip galvanised to DIN EN ISO 1461 and provides reliable corrosion protection even under demanding environmental conditions.

Bar grating fasteners are currently not subject to CE standards and must be used in accordance with the respective application requirements and applicable legal regulations.
