The Socket Head Cap Screw ISO 4762 / DIN 912 M8x70 is a standard-compliant fastener made of steel, strength class 4.8, full thread, developed for demanding applications in steel construction, industry, and bar grating fastening systems.
Its socket head (Allen key drive) enables precise, force-fit assembly and is particularly suitable for applications requiring a secure, controlled, and releasable bolted connection - for example in combination with clamp-type top parts, disc-type top parts, or other fastening elements in the bar grating sector.
The full thread ensures flexible positioning in the connection and supports stable, form-fit force transfer between components, even under alternating mechanical loads.
The screw is geomet-coated - a modern, zinc-free coating with high corrosion protection, good temperature resistance, and low friction coefficient. It is particularly suitable for applications where:
