Hook fasteners for angle profiles are the fastest and most reliable solution for securing bar gratings to L-section steel beams. The hook engages from above into the mesh opening of the grating while simultaneously enclosing the angle bearer – without requiring access from below. This makes installation significantly faster than with clamp fasteners.

Angle profiles (L-sections) are particularly common in plant engineering, on stair landings, access walkways and industrial platforms. Metallfix hook fasteners for this bearer type are available in various versions – matched to the mesh pitch of the bar grating and the width of the angle profile.

All hook fasteners are hot-dip galvanised to EN ISO 1461 and meet the requirements of DIN 24537. For safety-relevant areas such as working platforms above 1 m height or traffic routes, these fasteners are to be used in accordance with DGUV guidelines. Material test certificates to EN 10204 (3.1) are available on request.
