Collection: Retaining Clip with Disc Top

Retaining clips with disc top are a proven fastening solution for steel bar gratings where a large bearing surface is desired or where the top part should not pass through the mesh opening. The characteristic disc top lies flat on the grating and distributes the clamping load over a larger area – ideal for thin-walled gratings or sensitive surfaces.

Unlike standard top parts that engage in the mesh opening, the disc top sits on top of the bearing bar. This allows use with different mesh pitches without adapting the top part. The clamping mechanism is provided by the bottom part, which grips the bearer from below and is prestressed via a fastening bolt.

All retaining clips with disc top are hot-dip galvanised to EN ISO 1461 and comply with DIN 24537. They are suitable for angle profiles, flat steel and rectangular hollow sections. The specified tightening torque for M8 is 20–25 Nm. Versions in stainless steel 1.4571 for corrosive environments are available on request.
